their eyes spoke everything

A part of a Victorian College of the Arts Master of Theatre Directing showcase, ‘Their Eyes Spoke Everything’ is set at an evening with Aaron and Beckett, a librarian and an army veteran in their early 30s. Over one inevitable night, they delve headfirst into the aftermath of war and the comedic moments of Aaron and Beckett’s relationship. Through this they ask: What becomes of a person when there’s no hope to fix the very thing they’re told to have hope for and what makes us so uncomfortable with talking about death?

Written and Directed by Freddie Fitzpatrick-Lubowitz.
